Structural slurry wall built in the late 1950s. Resists earth, water, and surcharge pressures.

TIEBACKS

Rock anchors with capacities in the order of 300 Tons supported the wall during orignal construction.

Rock anchors were inastalled in almost the same pattern, slowing debris removal by construction crews and preventing the slurry wall from collapsing within the excavation.
